In order to give as many memberships to deserving BIPOC students as possible, we strive to make our presence and organization known, not only through the networks of various social media platforms, but among other scientists through research articles, and interviews.

We are also happy to announce that EntoPOC published an article in the American Entomologist about the disparity of BIPOC students within Entomology. The article in its entirety can be made available upon request.

One of our first interviews was with the podcast The Bee Report

"The Bee Report is a news source dedicated to helping bee experts, citizen scientists and the bee-curious stay connected to the wide world of bees. TBR covers bee-related science, conservation, politics, economics and technology with original reporting and a weekly news summary." - The Bee Report Website

Several Members of our EntoPOC team also had an interview with Bugtalk!

"This podcast is created by the Department of Entomology at Michigan State University. Its hosted by multiple co-hosts and its goal is to introduce the person behind the scientist. You will hear conversations with entomologists and scientists to learn more about their lives, what inspires them and what interests them outside of work. Follow the podcast on Twitter or Instagram @bugtalkpodcast. You can direct message us on Twitter if you'd like to reach out to us." - Bugtalk website

Our own Dominic Evangelista just completed an interview with Grubbing the Filth

"If it lacks a backbone, we're interested. In this podcast, we are exploring the world of invertebrates, discovering the amazing lives they lead, and thinking carefully about our relationships with these much-maligned creatures. With the help of experts, we are lifting stones, peering into the water and grubbing in the filth." - Grubbing the Filth website

Our own Jessica Ware, and Megan Wilson completed an interview with BugTalk.

You can direct message us on Twitter if you'd like to reach out to us. Artwork was illustrated by Elisabeth Darling." - BugTalk Website
